Vidyashilp University is looking for Adjunct Faculty to teach the MLOps & Model Deployment course for the B.Tech. (Hons.) Data Science program (Semester 6).

Brief Job Description

We are seeking a technically strong faculty/instructor to teach and mentor undergraduate students in MLOps and production-grade machine learning systems. In addition to strong teaching skills, the candidate should possess hands-on practical experience in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Teach end-to-end MLOps workflows including data versioning, experiment tracking, model

deployment, monitoring and CI/CD Integration in MLOps Pipelines

Conduct practical labs on containerization, API-based model serving, and

cloud/community deployments.

Design and evaluate assignments, quizzes, and projects focused on real-world ML

systems.

Mentor students in building reproducible, scalable, and maintainable ML pipelines.

Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, DVC, and MLflow for versioning and experiment

tracking.

Practical knowledge of Docker, container optimization, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions.

Experience deploying models using FastAPI/Flask and building UIs with Streamlit or Gradio.

Familiarity with model monitoring, drift detection, and explainability tools (Evidently AI,

SHAP, LIME).

Working knowledge of cloud or community deployment platforms (AWS/GCP, Hugging Face

Spaces, Render) and basic ML governance concepts.

Developing Responsible & Governed AI Systems with Secure API design (JWT, OAuth basics)

Familiarity with: Workflow Orch
