Job Purpose
Domestic Textiles is very complex Business having 3 units and 6 different businesses and each of the businesses has unique models and complexity.
Each of the business has different business models including manufacturing activity, outsourcing, job work etc.
We have Largest selling Linen Brand with PAN India retail presence having 200 EBO stores and 8,450 MBO stores.
Majority of the Raw material gets imported from Europe and Australia
Major Challenges
Managing complex financial planning & analysis of 6 different business (3 units) is a challenge
Timely reporting to the management about major deviations and losses and timely completion of cost records.
Drive automation projects to bring more transparency and faster & realitime reporting of business KPIs/profitabiltiy.
Apparel business is new and growing business, to put effective process and control, managing S&OP

Supporting Actions
Finance planning & analysis for DT Business
Responsible for Financial planning & analysis of DT business having 3 units and 6 different businesses.
- To supervise Daily Report and to highlight deviations for better and timely decision making.
- To Prepare and analyze the monthly, qtrly, half yearly financial performance and to highlight the deviations and share data driven insights to the management for effective and on time decision making
Planning & Budgeting for DT Business
- To prepare and consolidate detailed annual budget for all the business verticals by Interacting with all the functions. To highlight and report the deviation for Budget Vs Actual on monthly basis
Monthly Business Review and quarterly BRC & Board Meetings
- To ensure that Financial Presentation to be prepared for Business Head and BRC Review
- To coordinate with respective department for the information to be incorporated in BH and BRC Review
- To prepare the response on observation on BH Review and BRC Presentation by coordinating with concerned department.
- To prepare presentation and other working and explanations for Board meetings.
Build robust controls and review processes to drive apparel business profitability
- Monitoring & reporting of channel-wise profitability with further break-down to store-level profitability
- To make operational improvements for smooth & effective running of the business
- Building a robust inventory management system to miminise inventorying ageing
- Customer level monitoring of O/s amount in apparel business
- Timely reconciliation of key customer accounts to help team to collect overdue amounts
Leverage technology for business decision making
- Generate and automate key decision-making reports COPA, SNOP, Order-wise profitability etc. in coordination with I.T. & other stakeholders.
- Automate reports to help management to view daily profitability of all SBUs
- Use POWER BI for better reporting and data presentation.
S&OP Meetings
- To prepare & drive S&OP meetings of all business verticals on monthly basis (Supply & Demand)
- Share insights to sales team about better product mix/market mix to maximise profitability.
- To ensure review of S&OP with CEO & CFO on monthly basis
Working capital management and Capex Planning & Review
- Develop industry best processes for working capital management
- Develop a system for weekly review of working capital for all SBUs
- Conduct meeting with stakeholders with CEO & CFO for review and progress on working capital in different SBUs.
- Review of capex proposals, screening as per business needs
- Monitoring and reporting of capex sanctions
- Review and Reporting of ROI capex.
Competitors Benchmarking
- To Benchmark DT Business against competitors
- To Track Financials and other updated metrics of Competitors and companies in the value chains
- To track & report the Imports data of key countries by competitors vs DT Business
- To track the Laws like ADD and others of the countries which may impact our business.
