Job Role: ADAS Technical Project Manager (Braking & Steering Systems)

Experience: 8-16 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of ADAS and automotive engineering projects from planning through production.
  • Manage technical delivery for ADAS, Braking (ABS, ESP, IPB), Steering (EPS), Transmission (TCU), or Engine Management System (EMS) projects.
  • Act as the primary technical interface between customers, OEMs, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including System Engineering, Embedded Software, Hardware, Validation, and Application Engineering.
  • Drive project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and release planning.
  • Ensure project milestones, quality objectives, budgets, and delivery timelines are achieved.
  • Support customer technical discussions, feasibility studies, engineering proposals, and production launches.
  • Coordinate software development activities and engineering change management.
  • Review engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE development processes.
  • Support Design Verification Plan (DVP), Product Validation Plan (PVP), vehicle integration, and debugging activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Automotive Product Development and Technical Project Management.
  • Proven experience managing automotive engineering programs involving:
  • ADAS Systems
  • Braking Systems (ABS, ESP, IPB)
  • Electric Power Steering (EPS)
  • Transmission Control Units (TCU)
  • Engine Management Systems (EMS)
  • Strong understanding of automotive embedded systems and vehicle E/E architecture.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams across the complete product development lifecycle.
  • Strong customer-facing experience with global automotive OEMs.
  • Hands-on experience with Vector CAN tools.
  • Experience in Automotive SPICE development processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive software development lifecycle and engineering documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required and possess a valid driving license.
