Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ADAS Environment Simulation Lead to drive the development, validation, and optimization of high-fidelity simulation environments for AD/ADAS systems. You will play a key role in developing realistic simulation scenarios and sensor models to support the testing and validation of advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of realistic and scalable simulation environments for AD/ADAS testing.
  • Implement and manage environment and sensor simulations using Unreal Engine 5, dSPACE ModelDesk & AURELION, and CarMaker.
  • Design and execute virtual test scenarios for camera, radar, and LiDAR sensor systems.
  • Ensure high fidelity of simulated data by validating models against real-world measurement data.
  • Collaborate with perception, sensor fusion, and software teams to integrate simulation into the AD/ADAS development pipeline.
  • Drive continuous improvement of simulation fidelity, performance, and scalability.
  • Document and report simulation results, analysis, and insights to cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: Proven experience with Unreal Engine 5 for 3D environment simulation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with dSPACE ModelDesk and AURELION, as well as CarMaker.
  • Solid technical understanding of perception sensors (camera, radar, lidar).
  • Working knowledge of automated driving technologies and system architectures.
  • Experience in model validation and comparing simulated results to real-world measurement data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
