Job Title: Associate Director – Strategy

Location: Mumbai

About the Role

Truemeds is building a high-growth Diagnostics vertical as part of its next phase of expansion. We are looking for a highly driven Associate Director – Strategy to work closely with the leadership team and own end-to-end strategic initiatives for this vertical.

What will you work on

1. Business Strategy & Growth

• Define the overall strategy and roadmap for scaling the Diagnostics vertical
• Identify growth levers across customer acquisition, pricing, product mix, and partnerships
• Drive 0→1 and 1→10 initiatives for new diagnostic offerings

2. Market & Competitive Intelligence

• Conduct market sizing, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking
• Identify new business opportunities in preventive health, B2B, B2C, corporate wellness, etc.

3. Partnerships & Alliances

• Lead strategic partnerships with diagnostic labs, hospitals, healthcare providers, and tech partners
• Own end-to-end evaluation, negotiation, and execution of partnerships

4. Business Performance & Analytics

• Track key business KPIs – revenue, margins, unit economics, funnel conversion, repeat usage
• Use data to identify bottlenecks and drive performance improvement projects

5. Cross-functional Execution

• Work with Product, Ops, Tech, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
• Translate strategy into execution plans with clear milestones and ownership

6. New Initiatives

• Evaluate new lines of business within diagnostics (home testing, subscriptions, health packages, B2B models)
• Build business cases and lead pilots

Experience & Education

• MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, IITs, or similar)
• 4–8 years of post-MBA experience in:
• Top-tier consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain or similar), or
• Strategy roles in high-growth startups / healthcare / health-tech
• Strong preference for candidates with healthcare / diagnostics / pharma / health-tech exposure
