Ad Operations Team Lead India
We are expanding our India operations and are looking for an experienced Ad Operations Team Lead to strengthen campaign execution quality, mentor a growing team, and partner closely with US-based stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on digital advertising expertise with strong people leadership, operational discipline, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Job Summary
As Team Lead Ad Operations, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for digital campaign delivery, platform troubleshooting, and quality assurance across paid media channels.
You will act as the primary bridge between the India Ad Operations team and US-based teams, ensuring aligned priorities, high delivery standards, and smooth cross-timezone collaboration. The role requires excellent English communication, structured thinking, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and support the ad operations team to drive efficiency, quality, and accountability
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and skill development planning
- Contribute to onboarding and ongoing training programs for the team
- Partner with senior leadership on capacity planning and team growth initiatives
Campaign Management & Platform Excellence
- Oversee delivery and QA of paid media campaigns across major platforms
- Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure campaigns meet policy and quality standards
- Manage ad rejection reviews, appeals, and compliance escalations with Google and Meta
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between India Ad Operations and US-based teams including Client Success, Technical Account Management, and Analytics
- Coordinate with technical teams to improve tooling, workflows, and real-time visibility
Data, Reporting & Quality Control
- Support the team with GA4 reviews and media tracking validation
- Help translate campaign delivery data into operational insights
- Ensure consistent documentation and escalation hygiene
Process Improvement & Scalability
- Identify gaps in workflows and implement quality control improvements
- Drive process standardization, automation, and operational innovation
- Reduce error rates and improve turnaround times at scale
Qualifications
Required
- 8+ years of experience in digital advertising / ad operations
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
- Experience working with JIRA or similar ticketing systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot platform issues and manage ad rejections
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field
Preferred
- Exposure to LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, or Looker
- Working knowledge of HTML, XML, or JavaScript
- Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications
- Master's degree

- Shift Timing: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM IST
- Start Date: Early joiners preferred
- Compensation: Up to 11 LPA (depending on experience)
