AD/Director - Resource Management
Director of Resource Management will lead the strategic workforce planning and deployment function across multiple service lines within the Big4 environment. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal utilization, capability alignment, and workforce readiness to support largescale consulting, audit, tax engagements. The leader will drive a datadriven, futurefocused resource strategy that balances client demand, talent supply, and business profitability
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Develop a multiyear workforce strategy aligned with business growth, revenue targets, and capability priorities.
- Lead demand forecasting across service lines using pipeline insights, sales forecasts, and historical utilization trends.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive skills taxonomy and capability inventory to support strategic staffing decisions.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to shape hiring, upskilling, and reskilling plans
Resource Deployment & Optimization
- Oversee endtoend resource allocation for engagements across consulting, technology, audit support, and managed services.
- Drive utilization, billability, and productivity targets while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Manage bench strategy, redeployment cycles, and internal mobility programs to minimize idle capacity.
- Resolve resource conflicts and ensure transparent prioritization across competing business needs and geographies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Delivery Operations, or PMO within a Big4, consulting, or large global services environment.
- Deep understanding of consulting delivery models, engagement lifecycle, and multiserviceline staffing.
- Strong expertise in capacity planning, forecasting, and resource optimization frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and manage complex stakeholder environments.
