Exp Required - 2-5yrs

Notice - Early Joiner

Location - Gurgaon, Hybrid 2 days

Work Timings - 12-9PM IST

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for executing projects in the Pensions Actuarial Space, provide clear and helpful actuarial advice and support to the clients on various engagements.

Typical responsibilities of the candidate will include playing a proactive role within a multi-disciplinary team in supporting the various client engagements which may span across pension's team and actuarial liability calculation for US pension plans. Candidate is required to have extensive hands-on experience either on Proval or ProAdmin

ProVal (DB Pension Valuation Tool)

· Should have strong data-handling skills in Excel and Word.

· Hands-on experience on ProVal.

· Ability to code expressions in ProVal to modify and transform valuation data.

· Perform valuation of U.S. Defined Benefit (DB) pension plans.

· Set asset–funding policies and reconcile income and disbursements (Benefit payment) for DB plans.

· Convert pension plans into ProVal based on plan documents or plan scoping guide (Must).

· Code system logic as per scheme rules/benefit formulas for valuation runs and validate results through manual liability checks.

· Prepare funding updates (Asset–Liability Modeling), including roll‑forwards and change‑of‑basis calculations to assess surplus/deficit positions.

· Perform variance analysis to explain actuarial gains/losses due to plan changes and assumption updates.

· Strong knowledge of pension accounting and disclosure requirements for valuation reports.

· Experience preparing or supporting government filings (Form 5500) for clients.

ProAdmin (Pension Benefit Administration Tool)

· Should have strong data-handling skills in Excel and SQL

· Hands-on experience on ProAdmin.

· Ability to code expressions in ProAdmin to update and transform member benefits as per latest amendments.

· Convert benefit calculations into ProAdmin based on benefit document/Plan Document (Must).

· Code administration rules in the system as per scheme provisions and validate calculated results through manual benefit calculations.

· Perform variance and reasonability checks on system‑generated results to ensure alignment with plan rules.

· Good understanding of DB plan operations, benefit formulas, and data requirements for accurate administration processing.
