Roles and Responsibilities:
Actuarial - Valuation:
- Responsible for the preparation of reserves, new business embedded value, statutory forms and other internal and external reports
- Perform analysis of results, including explanation of movement in valuation results
- Provide support in enhancing and modification of the valuation system
- Monitor the financial positions of the company to ensure ongoing RBC2 solvency
- Assist to manage valuation related projects and coordinate with internal and external parties
- Involve in the annual review exercise of experience studies, bonus investigation, stress test and policies such as reserving SOP, NBEV SOP, CAR computation SOP and Par Internal Governance Policy
- Assist in the preparation of annual SAA review and business plan
Others:
- To participate in other projects assigned by the Chief Actuary
Job Requirements:
- Good degree in Actuarial Science or related subjects
- Job title and rank depend on the number of years actuarial working experience in direct life insurance business or consulting firms
- Familiar with Singapore RBC2 regulations and RBC2 development is an advantage
- Familiar with actuarial reserving and embedded value reporting
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access
- Good communication and project management skills
- Ability to read Chinese will be an advantage
