Job Description:
- The role requires good understanding of the actuarial reserving methodologies for different lines of business.
- The role will assist in carrying out portfolio analysis and preparing presentations for senior management.
- The role requires ability to take up new projects and create processes from scratch independently.
- The role will involve other analytical work like actual vs expected analysis, preparation of audit trail, helping Head of Reserving on various regulatory submissions
- Should understand the IFRS-17 framework and Risk Based Capital
- The role requires ability to work with large data sets.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently on various processes related to reserving including data preparation and reconciliation
- Should develop good understanding of data and systems
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with other business units like Claims, Finance, IT etc.
- Good at Excel, knowledge of R would be preferred.
