Description
We are actively looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our end-users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Document and track issues using the service desk ticketing system.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new devices and software installations.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software resources.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
- Provide training and support to end-users on various IT applications.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a service desk or technical support role.
- Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
