Job Summary
Accenture Strategy & Consulting is seeking a high-performing GTM / Sales & Marketing Consultant to drive commercial growth strategy, market entry execution, and scaling mandates across industrial, resources, and chemical sectors in India.
This role focuses on designing AI-first, lean, and performance-oriented go-to-market engines suited for complex B2B industrial environments characterized by long sales cycles, technical buying committees, distributor-heavy networks, and fragmented SME ecosystems.
The candidate will bring strong experience in industrial sales models, channel strategies, and marketing technology ecosystems relevant to India's industrial market.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Market Entry & Commercial Expansion Strategy: Support structured market entry and expansion strategy engagements across industrial sectors. Define customer segmentation, value propositions, channel models, and phased scaling roadmaps.
- Design Scalable Go-To-Market Models: Develop end-to-end GTM frameworks including territory design, coverage models (direct vs channel vs hybrid), key account management structures, and cluster-based penetration strategies.
- Sales Operating Model Transformation: Redesign sales processes, incentive structures, and pipeline governance mechanisms to improve conversion efficiency, working capital velocity, and margin realization.
- AI-First Commercial Strategy: Integrate AI-driven capabilities across lead scoring, pricing optimization, forecasting, distributor performance analytics, and pipeline prioritization to enable lean, data-driven commercial execution.
- MarTech & Commercial Tech Architecture: Define and assess CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and CPQ stack requirements aligned to industrial B2B use cases. Support implementation roadmaps for commercial digitization.
- Commercial & Financial Modeling: Build robust revenue models, customer lifetime value frameworks, pricing simulations, and ROI cases to support scaling decisions and investment prioritization.
- Business Development Support: Contribute to proposal development and RFP responses across market units. Translate commercial transformation insights into compelling client value propositions.
- Executive Client Engagement: Structure ambiguous commercial growth challenges into hypothesis-driven workstreams and Facilitate client workshops.
- Thought Leadership & Asset Creation: Develop reusable commercial transformation toolkits, GTM playbooks, AI-enabled sales frameworks, and industry-specific points of view.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of B2B industrial sales cycles in India (long-cycle, technical decision-making, multi-stakeholder environments).
- Experience in industrial / chemicals / resources sectors with exposure to distributor-driven market structures, preferably in the water treatment / membrane technology industry.
- Demonstrated capability in GTM design, sales operating model transformation, or commercial strategy projects.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and commercial analytics platforms.
- Exposure to AI use cases in commercial functions (predictive sales, dynamic pricing, intelligent forecasting).
- Strong quantitative skills including revenue modeling, margin analysis, and pipeline diagnostics.
- Ability to connect strategic GTM design with practical execution constraints.
- Strong stakeholder communication and structured problem-solving capability.
