Architecture & Interiors- Executive Manager
Role Summary
The ExecutiveManager - Architecture & Interiors is responsible for developing architectural design across concept, design development, and documentation stages. The role demands strong technical capability, growing design judgment, and disciplined coordination skills. You will work closely with Senior Architects while independently driving defined scopes of work and ensuring design intent survives real-world constraints.
Key Result Areas (KRAs) / Responsibilities
1. Design Development & Translation
- Translate conceptual design direction into clear architectural plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Develop spatial layouts that balance experience, functionality, compliance, and constructability.
- Contribute design ideas and refinements while respecting overarching design intent.
2. Technical Documentation & Accuracy
- Produce high-quality design development and construction documentation.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical conflicts proactively.
3. Multi-Disciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate architectural work with MEP, structural, faade, lighting, signage, and interior consultants.
- Track comments, revisions, and approvals across disciplines.
- Support senior architects in resolving coordination challenges.
4. Retail & Brand Architecture Execution
- Apply brand principles to architectural elements such as faades, layouts, materials, lighting zones, and feature moments.
- Support customer journey planning, zoning, and circulation logic in retail environments.
- Ensure architectural decisions reinforce experience and commercial intent.
5. Client & Internal Communication
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and design reviews.
- Present portions of the design clearly and professionally.
- Communicate progress, risks, and clarifications internally with discipline.
6. Delivery Discipline
- Manage assigned packages or areas of a project with ownership.
- Adhere to timelines, quality benchmarks, and documentation standards.
- Flag risks earlyscope creep, coordination gaps, or technical uncertainty.

Key Skills

- Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Rhino / SketchUp for design exploration
- Ability to produce:

- Basic detailing and specifications coordination
- Understanding of building codes, accessibility norms, and approval processes
- Material knowledge relevant to retail and public environments
Retail & Experience Skills
- Retail planning fundamentals: zoning, circulation, visibility, adjacencies
- Understanding of how architecture supports brand storytelling
- Awareness of durability, maintenance, and lifecycle considerations in retail

Experience & Qualifications
- 47 years of professional architectural experience
- Experience working on retail, commercial, mixed-use, or brand-driven projects
- Portfolio demonstrating:
- Strong technical drawings
- Clear spatial thinking
- Ability to translate concepts into execution
- Experience in multi-disciplinary team environments preferred
