Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Title: Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Experience: 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice creation, billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice generation in accordance with contractual and business requirements.
• Handle accrual accounting activities and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage deferred payments/deferred revenue schedules and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Perform revenue recognition activities in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer queries.
• Prepare AR reports, aging analysis, and cash collection forecasts.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Business teams to streamline AR processes and improve controls.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Accounts Receivable and Billing processes.
• Hands-on experience in Invoice Creation and Management.
• Good understanding of Accrual Accounting.
• Experience handling Deferred Payments / Deferred Revenue.
• Strong knowledge of Revenue Recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15 preferred).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar.
• Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and communication skills.
