Roles and Responsibilities:
Mindstix is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive with 2+ years of relevant experience. The role involves handling contract-related documentation, timely invoicing, accurate reconciliations, and maintaining strong client relationships to support smooth cash flow operations.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Manage contract-related activities, including SOW (Statement of Work) documentation for multiple global IT customers.
- Prepare and update SOWs with diligence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, payment commitments, and escalations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare timesheets and share them with customers as per agreements.
- Prepare and share timely and detailed invoices while coordinating with internal teams (Finance, Operations etc) for accuracy.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up with clients, and proactively resolve discrepancies, disputes, and delays.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities with AR schedules and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Work closely with global stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication.
- Manage cross-border taxation requirements for US clients, ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations and internal company policies.
- Perform and review taxation calculations accurately, with a strong understanding of cross-border tax structures and implications.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance function.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, invoicing, reconciliations, and contract management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client coordination and issue resolution.
- Ability to work with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality in handling financial data.
- Knowledge or familiarity with US accounting practices and taxation will be an added advantage.

This position is primarily based at our Pune (India) headquarters, requiring all potential hires to work from this location.
