Accounts Receivable Representative

Role: Account Receivable

Location: Mumbai

Role Summary

The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, account reconciliation, and maintaining healthy customer relationships. This role ensures the organization's cash flow remains strong and receivables are collected within defined timelines.

Collections & Credit Control

• Monitor AR ageing and drive recovery strategies for overdue accounts.
• Set up escalation mechanisms for high-risk or chronic defaulters.
• Coordinate with Collections, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve disputes.

Customer Relationship & Issue Resolution

• Build strong relationships with key customers to ensure smooth payment cycles.
• Drive resolution of billing errors, disputes, and delayed payments.
• Ensure customer master data accuracy and compliance.

Reporting & Analysis

• Generate AR ageing reports, DSO analysis, and cash collection forecasts.
• Highlight overdue accounts and escalate long-pending cases.
• Provide weekly/monthly AR performance reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related domains.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
