Accounts Payable Senior Executive

The role of an Accounts Payable Senior Executive is crucial to the financial stability and success of a company. This individual is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring that all financial obligations are met and that the companys vendors and suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Senior Executive:

1. Invoice Processing: One of the main responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Senior Executive is managing the processing of incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers. This includes verifying the accuracy of invoices, obtaining approval for payment, and entering the information into the companys accounting system.

2. Vendor Reconciliation & Management: Another important responsibility is maintaining strong relationships with the companys vendors and suppliers. This includes responding to inquiries, resolving any payment discrepancies, and negotiating payment terms when necessary.

3. Financial Reporting: The Accounts Payable Senior Executive is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reports related to accounts payable, including aging reports, MIS and other relevant financial metrics.

4. Project accounting & Management: Have to be well versed with Project accounting. Can read the terms & conditions of various Work orders and manage the documents and deal with contractors in relation to those documents.

5. Should have knowledge of Microsoft suite. (Specially Excel)

In addition to these specific responsibilities, an Accounts Payable Senior Executive is expected to have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
