Job Title: Accounts Payable

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling IO Based/ WBS Based Fixed Asset accounting for Greenfield projects in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Fixed Asset accounting for all capital expenditures related to the Greenfield project, including CWIP in SAP
- Maintain and control the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) with asset-wise tracking and documentation
- Review project costs, ensure proper allocation to asset heads, and monitor CWIP ageing
- Ensure accurate and timely capitalization of project assets upon commissioning and readiness for use
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, and Procurement teams for asset commissioning and capitalization approvals
- Maintain strict controls and review mechanism for Capex Spend visa vis Approved Budgets
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations specifically for Greenfield project vendors, including EPC contractors, consultants, and equipment suppliers
- Oversee invoice processing in SAP (MIRO / FB60), ensuring linkage with PO, GRN, and milestone-based contracts
- Ensure timely payments to vendors as per contract terms and project cash flow planning
- Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts, advances, and retention balances
Work Experience
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
