Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Accounts Receivable team by providing direction, performance management, coaching, and support while driving a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee complex accounts receivable operations, assist teams in resolving challenging claims, payment issues, and operational queries to ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to improve revenue realization, reduce denial trends, enhance payment outcomes, and strengthen operational performance.
  • Partner with insurance payers and collaborate with Medical Coding, Billing, Revenue Integrity, and other cross-functional teams to identify, resolve, and prevent recurring denial issues.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through performance monitoring, operational reviews, quality initiatives, workflow optimization, and implementation of sustainable best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; CRCR certification is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in U.S. Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management with at least 5+ years of expertise in Accounts Receivable, AR Follow-up, Denials Management, Appeals, and Reimbursement.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes, medical billing, payment posting, Medicare, Medicaid, ICD, CPT, and payer reimbursement guidelines.
  • Proven experience leading high-performing teams with responsibility for people management, stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and performance improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
