Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support audit activities by providing necessary documents and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of returns.
• Handle petty cash and expense reimbursements.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Use accounting software to record and report financial transactions.
• Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 13 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
