Role Overview:
We are looking for an Accounts Manager to oversee the company's daily accounting operations, financial reporting, GST and tax compliance, banking activities, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, support business growth through financial insights, and maintain compliance with all statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
- Perform bank reconciliations and coordinate banking transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, trading, or retail businesses is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Kollam District.
