We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead our Accounts Department and oversee all finance, taxation, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, team leadership capabilities, and hands-on expertise in managing receivables, payables, statutory compliance, and financial audits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including receivables, payables, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow statements, and P&L summaries.
- Monitor project-wise financials and ensure accurate cost allocation.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Manage GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory requirements and deadlines.
- Liaise with consultants, auditors, and government authorities as required.
3. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion.
- Implement strong internal controls to prevent revenue leakages and strengthen financial discipline.
- Identify discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
4. Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide the accounting team (Receivables, Payables, and Project Accountants).
- Allocate duties, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of all accounting tasks.
- Provide training, mentoring, and support to improve team efficiency.
5. Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyze financial data, highlight variances, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Support management in cost optimization and financial strategy.
6. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Projects, and Admin teams for cross-functional financial coordination.
- Maintain transparent and timely communication with management regarding financial matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (MBA/CA Inter preferred).
- 58+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and accounting standards.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books / ERP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
