Position: Lead Accounts

The Lead - Accounts is responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial accounting, and planning, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and implementing efficient systems and processes for the Foundation at large and programs under the key focus areas mentioned above.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor the annual budget in alignment with the foundation's goals.
  • Track fund utilization and ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Plan and work with program heads to track program-based financial requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of fund utilization for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act, CSR Regulations, Companies Act etc.
  • Manage tax filings, GST compliance, and TDS payments as per statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements and MIS reports for management
  • Manage cash flows, timely disbursement of funds for operational and program needs.
  • Define and follow internal controls to prevent financial leakages and mismanagement.
  • Establish financial controls for procurement and vendor payments.
  • Present financial reports and insights to senior management.
  • Provide financial advisory support for organizational decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • CA with 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit or CSR sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian financial laws, taxation, CSR compliance, and accounting standards.
  • Expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in financial software (Tally, ERP, SAP, or similar tools).
  • Excellent analytical, and communication skills.
