Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

- Manage import/export financial transactions, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

- Collaborate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth import/export operations.

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning.

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with local and international regulations.

- Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities.

- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum 8 of experience in accounting, with a focus on import/export operations.

- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and financial implications.

- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*Preferred Skills:*

- Experience with customs documentation and compliance.

- Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
