Accounts & Finance Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounting function including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS/Ind AS).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax filings, audit, and regulatory reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and statutory authorities.
• Lead financial analysis, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and business partnering with department heads.
• Manage and mentor the finance and accounts team, driving continuous improvement and professional development.
• Implement ERP and finance systems enhancements to improve efficiency and reporting.
• Monitor working capital and optimize capital structure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; MBA/CA/CMA/CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounts leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• High degree of integrity and attention to detail.
