Accounts, Finance & compliance Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day financial records (sales, expenses, receipts)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly
• Ensure accurate data entry in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks)

2. Billing & Invoicing

• Generate invoices and ensure timely collections
• Track pending payments and follow up with clients
• Coordinate with internal teams for billing accuracy

3. Financial Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
• Track revenue, expenses, and profitability
• Provide insights to management for decision-making

4. Compliance & Taxation

• Assist in GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with CA for audits and filings
• Ensure all financial practices comply with regulations

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Monitor budgets and track variances
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Flag any financial discrepancies or risks

6. Payroll & Expense Management

• Support payroll processing (if required)
• Verify and process employee reimbursements
• Maintain expense records and approvals

Key Deliverables:

• Accurate and updated books of accounts
• Timely invoicing and improved collection cycle
• Monthly financial reports shared on time
• Zero or minimal compliance delays
• Clear visibility on company cash flow

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with accounting tools (Tally, Zoho Books, etc.)
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance
• Proficiency in MS Excel (very important)
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Experience Required:

• 1–3 years in finance/accounts role
• Experience in startups/SMEs is a plus

Educational Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• CA Inter / CMA (preferred but not mandatory)

Salary Range (India context):

• ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 (depending on experience)
