Role Summary
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting statutory compliance within the hotel. The role requires coordination with various departments to maintain financial discipline and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate records
- Manage accounts payable & receivable, including vendor payments and collections
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports and financial statements
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, bills, and expense entries
- Support GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reporting
- Coordinate with departments like F&B, Front Office, and Purchase for billing and cost tracking
- Assist in inventory accounting and stock verification
- Support internal and external audit processes
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical and reconciliation skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounts (hospitality preferred)
- Exposure to hotel accounting systems will be an advantage
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
