Responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow up with inter-departments, creditors, and debtors for payables and receivables to ensure smooth financial operations at Cargosol Logistics.
- Collaborate with the Head Office (HO) for queries, approvals, online operational payments, and bookings to ensure accurate financial processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries in Tally for purchase, sales, journal, contra, payments, and receipts at Cargosol Logistics.
- Prepare vouchers, maintain and update MIS reports to keep financial records up-to-date.
- Book, analyze, and collate invoices into the system in alignment with quotations to ensure accurate financial documentation.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information at Cargosol Logistics.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as needed.
- Maintain and organize accounting files and documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.
- Support the finance team with various accounting tasks and projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in accounting with a strong understanding of financial processes at Cargosol Logistics.
- Graduate in Commerce with proficiency in Tally 9.0 ERP and accounting standards.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, to handle accounting tasks efficiently.
- Language Proficiency: English, Marathi, and Hindi.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to resolve accounting issues.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data and reporting.
