Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: INR 2.4 - 4.0 LPA (gross, depending on experience and skills). In addition to the base salary, candidates are eligible for performance-linked variable incentives (monthly/quarterly) and an annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance. Job Summary
We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage our day-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the Three Golden Rules and hands-on experience in GST filing, TDS compliance, and monthly P&L finalization
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping: Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/Zoho ensuring accuracy in Personal, Real, and Nominal accounts.
- Compliance: Handle monthly GST lifecycles including GSTR-1 filing, GSTR-2B reconciliation (ITC verification), and GSTR-3B summary.
- Direct Tax: Calculate and deposit TDS (Sections 194J, 194Q, etc.) by the 7th of every month.
- Reconciliations: Perform weekly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and follow up on outstanding entries.
- Month-end Closing: Manage accrual entries, prepaid expense amortizations, and depreciation schedules to ensure an accurate P&L.
- Audit Readiness: Maintain a clean audit trail by using rectification journals and proper documentation.
- Reporting: Generate MIS reports, including Aging Analysis (Receivables/Payables) and Cash Ratio reports for management.
- Vendor Management: Handle end-to-end vendor payments, including invoice verification, ensuring GST/TDS compliance, and processing timely payouts to maintain healthy supplier relationships
- P2P Cycle Management: Manage the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflow, including Three-Way Matching (comparing PO, GRN, and Vendor Invoices) to ensure accuracy before booking expenses.
Technical Skills Required
- In-depth knowledge of GST Portal operations and TDS provisions.
- Solid understanding of the Matching Principle and Accrual Basis of accounting.
- Ability to distinguish between CapEx and OpEx.
- Efficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data reconciliation
