Job Title - Accounts Executive for a reputed company in Retail Industry

***Candidates with Retail experience will be preferred

Experience - 6 to 9 yrs

Job Location - Model Town , Delhi

Salary - upto 6 lpa

Immediate Joiners preferred

No outstation candidate is eligible

Working days and hrs - 6 days ( 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
• Handle sales and purchase entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform daily bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain petty cash and monitor cash transactions.
• Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding accounts-related queries.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of MIS reports.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
• Support GST, TDS, and other routine compliance-related accounting work.
• Assist auditors and senior management with required financial information.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of sales, purchase, billing, reconciliation, and ledger accounting.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• 4-5 years of experience in accounts, preferably in the retail/FMCG/consumer business.
• Candidates with experience handling high-volume retail transactions will be preferred.
