Position Title: Accounts Assistant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: CEO

Location: Navi Mumbai (CBD Belapur)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: [ 15,000 – 20,000]

Job Summary

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance and accounting team with day-to-day accounting operations, documentation, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly and annual closing activities.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, bills, and other financial documents.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Verify expenses and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
• Assist auditors and senior accountants with required documents and information.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of accounting software is mandatory, preferably Tally.
• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 1 years of experience in a similar role (preferably)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email tools
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure
