Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts and Finance Executive, located in Mumbai. The Accounts and Finance Executive will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing tax compliance with a focus on Goods and Services Tax (GST), handling financial reporting, and ensuring proper financial management processes. This role requires working closely with team members to monitor and enhance financial operations and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review accounting entries including Purchase, Sales, Journal Vouchers (JV), Payments, and Receipts.
• Review bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Conduct debtor and creditor ledger scrutiny and manage balance confirmations.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors and provide the required financial data and documentation.
• Oversee employee reimbursements and review the booking of company credit card expenses, ensuring payments are made before the due date.
• Review vendor invoice bookings and monitor outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with management for payment approvals.
• Review customer billing, e-invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation with Form 26AS.
• Support the preparation of MIS reports and expense analysis, and ensure accurate accounting records are maintained in Tally.
• Review monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reports and coordinate with the team to follow up on outstanding receivables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in finance and accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and good understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, vendor management, and ledger scrutiny.
• Familiarity with MIS reporting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Good coordination skills for working with auditors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines.
