About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Team Lead with strong expertise in QuickBooks, US Sales Tax returns, and end-to-end account finalization.

This role involves leading a team of accounting professionals while managing daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of US accounting principles, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations in QuickBooks 
• Prepare and file US Sales Tax returns accurately and on time 
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial reports 
• Ensure compliance with US accounting regulations and tax laws 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and reporting 
• Train and mentor junior accountants to improve team efficiency .
• Identify and implement process automation to improve productivity .
• Support hiring and training within the finance department.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in US accounting, preferably with QuickBooks 
• Strong knowledge of US Sales Tax return filing specially for ecommerce 
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks 
• Experience in reconciliations and financial reporting 
• Proven ability to manage a team and meet deadlines 
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills 
• Advanced Excel skills
