What roles and responsibilities will be performed by the selected candidate
What will you be doing
I. Lead and manage a team of 1012 associates/analysts, and senior analysts supporting US
smallbusiness clients.
II. Own endtoend performance management for each team member, including:
a. Goal setting and KPI tracking
b. Regular 1:1s, coaching, and feedback
c. Performance improvement plans (PIPs) where required
d. Ensure optimal workload allocation, productivity, and SLA adherence
III. Prepare and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports, including:
a. Productivity and capacity utilization
b. Quality and review metrics
c. SLA and turnaroundtime reports
IV. Strong ownership of Excelbased trackers, dashboards, and performance reports
V. Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting to senior management and onshore stakeholders
VI. Monitor quality of deliverables and perform spot checks / reviews on client accounts
VII. Act as the first point of escalation for operational, quality, or clientrelated issues
VIII. Ensure adherence to defined processes and internal controls.
IX. Identify skill gaps and arrange ongoing technical and process training
X. Mentor team members and build a strong leadership pipeline
XI. Strategic & Stakeholder Involvement: Participate in strategic discussions related to:
a. Capacity planning
b. Process improvements c. Productivity and efficiency initiatives XII. Provide datadriven insights and recommendations using MIS and performance trends Experience Required What is the expectation from the candidate's current role/profile XIII. Minimum 3 years of experience in handling a team of 1015 members XIV. Prior experience as a Team Lead in a finance and accounting environment XV. Should have at least 5 years of US Accounting experience XVI. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP. XVII. Expert knowledge of US payroll and tax deductions. XVIII. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. XIX. Attention to detail and accuracy of work. XX. Knowledge of XERO will be an added advantage.
