Role Impact & Responsibilities
As a Team Lead, you will be managing a team of Accountants and assisting your manager in managing the entire Finance department of the clients.
Your primary mission is to ensure that the accounting, taxation, and compliance engines of your client companies run flawlessly.
What you will achieve and own:
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client companies, ensuring their financial operations align with their business goals.
- Team Leadership: Directly supervise, mentor, and review the work of a team of 3 to 4 accountants.
- Statutory Compliance: Guarantee 100% accurate and timely filing of all returns (TDS, GST, Corporate Tax, etc.) and ensure all statutory due dates are met without exception.
- Audit Management (As the Auditee): Smoothly manage and face statutory audits for your clients. You will sit on the auditee side of the table—preparing final books, compiling schedules, and resolving auditor queries efficiently.
- Query Resolution: Serve as the subject matter expert to resolve complex accounting, tax, and compliance queries raised by clients or internal teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: 45000 to 70000/- depending on capability

Qualifications & Skills
- Education Intermediate Level of CA/CMA cleared
- Domain Knowledge: Statutory Compliance, Financial Accounting, MIS, Tax compliances, GST, TDS, Tally
- Excel - should be able to use shortcuts and other formulas related to Accounting
- Compliance Expertise: Proven track record of handling end-to-end statutory compliances, tax filings, and finalization of accounts for companies
- Communication: Strong professional communication skills to manage client relationships and answer queries confidently
- English: Basic level of verbal and written communication
Experience
- Minimum 4 to 6 years years of core accounting and taxation experience, experience should be a mix of articleship and corporate
- Audit Experience: Direct experience facing statutory auditors and handling the auditee end of the process.
