Accounting Specialist – US Finance Teams

This is not a routine accountant role. You will take meaningful ownership of financial operations for US businesses navigating rapid growth.

The Opportunity

As an Accounting Specialist, you will support end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting for US-based clients operating across technology, software, and retail industries.

You will work within lean, high-performance finance teams where attention to detail, ownership, and process thinking directly influence business outcomes.

What You Will Own

• Support month-end close under US GAAP including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting schedules
• Assist with financial reporting and operational reporting processes
• Manage reconciliations across revenue, expenses, and balance sheet accounts
• Support accounting workflows for technology, software, and retail business models
• Track financial data accuracy and assist with cash flow reporting
• Collaborate directly with US founders, Controllers, and finance teams
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of accounting experience with exposure to US GAAP
• Experience supporting technology, software, retail, or high-growth business environments preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• ERP experience (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• CA / CPA (or pursuing) is a plus
• Strong communication skills with exposure to US stakeholders preferred
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
