This is not a traditional accounting manager role. You will lead accounting operations for US clients while mentoring and developing your team in a fast-moving environment.
The Opportunity
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US clients, managing a team of accountants and working directly with US Controllers and CFOs. You will be a key finance partner responsible for accuracy, scalability, and continuous process improvement.
What You Will Own
- Lead end-to-end accounting (Record-to-Report) for US clients
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants ensuring quality and professional growth
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles
- Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Manage multi-location revenue accounting, COGS tracking, and operational expense reconciliations
- Act as primary US client contact, building strong stakeholder relationships
- Partner with Controllers and CFOs to support reporting and financial insights
- Drive process automation and workflow improvements
- Ensure audit readiness and manage auditor interactions
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP expertise
- Prior experience in team management or mentoring
- Background in hospitality, restaurant tech, or multi-location businesses a strong plus
- Strong understanding of close cycles, financial reporting, and internal controls
- ERP experience (NetSuite, Toast, QuickBooks, or similar)
- CA / CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with US time zone overlap
