Job Title: Inter Company Accounting Manager
Job Description: Responsible for maintaining the Intercompany Settlement and Accounting. Independently performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the field of accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Inter Company - including Settlement, Business Segment Reporting, follow up and transformation of aged open item, co-ordinate with treasury and business for regular IC Settlement.
- Expert in Process Transformation, Project Management Skill & Communication Skills.
- Self-starter and co-ordinates with various business and functional departments to resolve the long outstanding settlement.
- Subject matter expert / Single point of contact role for the responsibilities assigned
- Managing Team size of 10 with medium and complex activities
- This role will report into a Sr. Manager / Director
- Should adhere to all controls and compliance including SoX / business controls applicable for the activities assigned
- This role will need to liaise across teams for information; being a team player is a must
- High stakeholder engagement at Senior levels in a global environment to discuss accounting policy and procedures
Qualifications Skill Requirements Experience Levels (Additional Requirements)
- A qualified accountant with a minimum of 10 years post qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA)
- Should possess strong accounting knowledge, GAAP / IFRS and SOX Controls
- Candidates with strong experience in Financial Consolidation and with exposure to corporate accounting, fixed asset, lease, account reconciliation and intercompany accounting with large multi-national organization of repute,
- Good knowledge in Business, Corporate and post close adjustments
- Candidates with hands on experience in Accounting and Consolidation ERP like SAP, Costpoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle (EPM) preferred
- Candidates with hands on experience in Reporting Software like Workiva preferred
- Strong interpretation and analytical skills with attention to details

- Experience of working in a virtual environment spread across regions from diverse background and nationalities and dealing with senior stakeholders both internal as well as external (statutory auditors from one of the Big 4)
- Strong interpersonal skills including communication (both verbal and written) and articulation and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Business savvy, ability to work with tight timelines and pressure
- Need to be assertive and should possess good problem-solving abilities
- Display continuous improvement mindset and should have led process improvements
- Should be flexible to work under tight timelines and extended hours as the business needs
- Flexible to take roles that can be either Individual Contributor or leading teams as per the management decision/business needs
- Team handling experience would be an added advantage
