About the Role

Location: Remote (India)

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift Timings: PST (Night Shift)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the company's operational accounting functions, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Purchasing. This role is primarily centered on operational accounting—driving accuracy and efficiency across AP, AR, and purchasing—while also contributing to strategic financial analysis when required, ensuring overall excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with hands-on experience in financial reporting, cash flow management, statutory audits, India & US Accounting Standards (AS) and compliance, preferably with exposure to Big 4 environments .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operational accounting activities, including AP, AR, and purchasing.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports in compliance with India and US AS.
  • Manage bookkeeping, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP) processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support supply chain finance operations, ensuring effective cost control and working capital optimization.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory audits, tax audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for management using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualification

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in Big 4 or other reputable firms.
  • Strong knowledge of India and US Accounting Standards (AS).
  • Proven experience in supply chain finance, bookkeeping, AR, and AP.
  • Good understanding of tax audits and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
