Job Description

Accounts Manager

This role requires strong expertise in accounting operations, GST compliance, direct and indirect taxation, audits, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial documentation while ensuring adherence to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

The candidate must possess sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, payroll processes, and financial systems, along with the ability to coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end accounting and finance operations.
  • Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage GST activities including invoicing, reconciliations, GSTR filings, and compliance.
  • Handle TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
  • Process payroll, vendor payments, reimbursements, and receivables.
  • Coordinate internal, statutory, and GST audits.
  • Monitor bank transactions, cash flow, and financial records.
  • Ensure timely closure of accounts and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Maintain proper financial documentation and records.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
  • Good analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
