Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Clerk / B.COM role based in Bardoli. The Accounting Clerk will handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely data entry. Responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and receivable, preparing and reconciling bank statements, and supporting the preparation of financial reports and basic financial analysis. The role will also involve organizing and maintaining financial documentation, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the finance team to uphold compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply basic accounting principles accurately.
- Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and bookkeeping tools to manage day-to-day financial records efficiently.
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements and related financial documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.COM) or an equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for financial data analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance support role in an engineering, construction, or project-based environment is an advantage.
