Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting Associate with at least 3 years of experience in Indian accounting practices. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, good communication skills, and hands-on experience using Zoho Books. This role requires someone who can manage financial records accurately and support the finance team in daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Support GST-related documentation and filings when required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for financial documentation and approvals.
  • Generate financial reports and summaries for management.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Com/M.Com
  • Preferred: Semi-qualified CA or CMA
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Indian Accounting
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
