Accounting and Compliance Manager

Turning Red Mediaworks (TRM) is a YouTube Multi-Channel Network (MCN) specialising in channel growth, monetisation, and multilingual content distribution for leading studio and media partners including Sony Pictures, JioStar, Future TV, and GoQuest Media.

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to own TRM's accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance functions end to end. This is a critical role for a growing media company with multi-geography operations.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports for leadership review.
• Own statutory compliance including GST filings, TDS/TCS returns, advance tax, and ROC filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely closure of books.
• Monitor cash flow, maintain budget trackers, and flag variances to management.
• Support contract and vendor management from a financial and compliance standpoint.
• Liaise with banks, CA firms, legal counsel, and government authorities as required.

• CA qualified or CA Inter with strong practical experience of 4-5 years.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and ROC compliance.
• Proficient in Zoho Books, or equivalent accounting software.
• MS Excel skills for MIS and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet regulatory deadlines independently.
• Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination.

• Prior experience in media, entertainment, or digital/tech companies.
• Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-currency accounting.
• Exposure to cross-border transactions.
• Experience working with or setting up internal financial controls and SOPs.

• Own the full finance and compliance function with direct visibility to leadership.
