Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant (XBRL) role based in New Delhi. The accountant will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting financial statements and reports in XBRL format in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate ledgers, reconciling accounts, supporting monthly and annual closing, and ensuring proper documentation of financial data. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to provide financial analysis, assisting in audits, and improving reporting processes. The accountant will help develop and implement best practices for XBRL tagging and financial disclosure to enhance transparency and consistency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance, including experience with XBRL tagging and filing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, with the ability to manage ledgers, reconciliations, and financial data analysis accurately.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the capacity to identify discrepancies, ensure data integrity, and maintain clear documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Experience in corporate or tech-driven environments is preferred, with an interest in working in a fast-paced, growing startup.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and manage deadlines while handling multiple priorities responsibly.
