Note: This is a requirement for one of the Workassist Hiring Partner.

Primary Responsibility:

Assist with GST filings, reconciliations, and return preparation. Support in TDS calculation, deduction, payment & returns.

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Accounts Intern who has a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and is eager to gain hands-on experience in real-world financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help in the incorporation of companies and understanding ROC compliances.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements and accounts under supervision.
• Assist in Income Tax Return (ITR) filing for individuals and companies.
• Support the statutory and internal audit processes.
• Handle bank reconciliations and maintain strong banking documentation.
• Maintain compliance calendars and assist with timely filing.
• Work with senior accountants and auditors on regular accounting and compliance activities.

Qualification:

• Must have working knowledge of:
• GST
• TDS
• Finalization of Accounts
• ITR Filing
• Company Audit
• Banking operations
• ROC / Compliance knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, or other accounting software is a plus.
