Job Description: Accountant

Location: Kannod, Madhya Pradesh

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Depending on Experience & Last Drawn Salary)

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our client's team in Kannod, Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong working knowledge of Tally, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations with accuracy and efficiency.

This role is best suited for professionals who possess sound knowledge of bookkeeping, GST, financial reporting, and statutory compliance while ensuring timely and accurate maintenance of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and reconcile bank statements.
• Assist in GST-related activities, including data preparation and record maintenance.
• Maintain cash flow records and monitor daily financial transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and management summaries.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and management whenever required.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support management with MIS reports and other financial information as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related discipline.
• Additional certification in Accounting or Finance will be an added advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally.
• Basic understanding of GST, taxation, bookkeeping, and financial accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
