Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant position located in Shimla. The Accountant will handle daily financial activities, including bookkeeping, data entry, accounts reconciliation, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities include managing tax filings, ensuring regulatory compliance for GST, EPF, and ESIC, supporting budgeting and financial planning, and assisting with audits. The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with the compliance team, and engaging with diverse industries to meet their accounting and taxation needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts reconciliation, and financial statement preparation
• Expertise in direct and indirect taxation, including GST, EPF, and ESIC compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software, data entry systems, and financial reporting tools
• Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis
• Ability to collaborate with compliance teams and contribute to audit processes
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Familiarity with RDP-based accounting systems is an advantage
