Role Description The Accountant role at Tech Line Engineering is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements. Daily tasks include handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring accurate tax and statutory compliance in coordination with external auditors or consultants. The role also involves preparing management reports, supporting cost analysis for manufacturing projects, and implementing internal controls to maintain data accuracy and integrity. The accountant collaborates with operations and management teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost accounting, and basic financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel) and comfort working with digital records.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, statutory compliance, and documentation required for audits and regulatory reporting.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role; experience in manufacturing or engineering industries is preferred.
