Accountant Tax & Compliance

Job Description:

We are looking for an Accountant – Tax & Compliance to join our team in Mumbai. The role will involve day-to-day accounting, GST and Income Tax compliance, tax audits, reconciliations, and client coordination.The ideal candidate will have practical exposure to accounting and taxation, preferably through experience in a CA firm, and should be comfortable working on GST and Income Tax related assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting entries and assist with preparation of financial statements.Handle GST and Income Tax compliance, including GST returns, ITR filing, TDS and related filings.Assist with GST Audits and Tax Audits, including reconciliations, verification and audit workings.Perform GST reconciliations, including ITC reconciliation with GSTR-2B, and review financial/tax data for discrepancies.

Requirements:

1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation or a CA firm is preferred.CA Inter passed candidates preferred. Candidates who have discontinued their CA journey after clearing CA Inter are welcome to apply.Hands-on experience in a CA firm will be an advantage.Practical experience in GST Compliance, GST Audits, Tax Audits and Income Tax is preferred.Good understanding of accounting and taxation concepts.Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel or similar accounting tools.Good attention to detail and ability to work with financial and tax-related data.Good communication and client coordination skills.
