Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Accountant, based on-site in Delhi, India. The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and conducting account reconciliations. The individual will also handle tax filings, prepare financial reports, and monitor expenses to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include supporting audits and maintaining accurate documentation of financial records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, ledger management, and account reconciliations
- Knowledge of accounting software and tools, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- Understanding of tax regulations, GST filings, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing financial statements and reports
- Ability to handle budgets, monitor expenses, and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant financial tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; professional certifications such as CA or CPA are an advantage
- Experience in handling corporate financial operations is a plus
